Overview
As a Connectivity Delivery Engineer, Cloud Interconnection +Wireless (CI+W) you will contribute to building a world-class network infrastructure by working with Telecommunication, Network Operators, Satellite and Data Centers across the globe in sourcing Metro Fiber, Long-Haul Fiber, Internet Exchanges, ISP uplinks, subsea, satellite, 5G, and Lit Wave circuits. Additionally, you'll be acquiring IP blocks both IPv6 and Ipv4, challenging cross connectivity and a variety of network appliances and equipment including ISP routers, NTU, and CPE devices.
Mibura's Edge Cloud Operations & Innovation (ECO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services paving the way for a lower latency in an AI accelerated computing era. As a Connectivity Delivery Engineer, Cloud Interconnection + Wireless, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Mibura's online services including Global Silicon Services, Micro Services, Edge Gaming, Storage, and the edge network platform. Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience. - 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development some
- 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos)
Responsibilities
- Drive alignment to the goals and strategy of Mibura with external customers, vendors, and suppliers and maintain good working relationships and strong communication channels.
- Perform market research, conduct analyses, and examine customer and technology-related industry trends, as well as industry-specific requirements or regulations to solve complex Network Capacity Delivery matters, identify areas of opportunity, and lead process improvements.
- Engage with network operators and data centers worldwide to procure metro fiber, long-haul fiber, DIA & IP transit services, IP addresses, cross connects, IX connections, ISP uplinks, subsea cables, satellite links, 5G infrastructure, and lit wave circuits.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to propose and design architecture and integrated customer solutions for product and service support.
- Develop robust, scalable, and diversified operating procedures and strategies for Fiber Sourcing and Delivery segments.
- Manage frontline technical projects with external suppliers by pulling and tracking construction schedules, including civils, permitting, cable overpulls, overlaying with end-to-end schedule and producing reports.
- Manage governance programs and processes to ensure that specific performance requirements and standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage and lead sourcing initiatives for critical network infrastructure that enable the world’s largest online services.
- To provide leadership and direction to team of sourcing engineers on a large portfolio of Network and colocation projects.
- Lead and manage Cloud project initiatives for platform enablement and delivering capabilities that exceed customer expectations to enable rapid pace delivery.
- Manage and support our colocation sourcing efforts within to ensure resiliency, diversity and quality uptime of our network services portfolio.
- Responsible for Data analytics for the team to parse data, build meaningful metrics and reports enabling workflow analysis driving for workflow efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and define strategic initiatives to meet expansion and cost reduction needs.
- Build strategic relationships with vendors and industry experts Communicate progress internally and collaborate with network deployment teams.

- Partner and ensure contracting compliance with service suppliers, legal and finance teams for continuous and consistent rigor with regard to ensuring appropriate terms and conditions based on service type.
- Evaluate next-generation networking technologies and developing an evolution roadmap and target architectures for the network technology stack (spanning optical, routing, switching, software networking) in close collaboration with the Office of the CTO (OCTO)
